Fees and Payment for Grant Buckley Law’s Services

General.  Unless you have a fixed fee project or other fee arrangement with us, the fees for our legal services are calculated based on the hourly rates above. Upon your request, Grant Buckley Law is happy to provide a written fee estimate for a discrete project. We honor our written fee estimates unless there is a change in project scope. We will advise you of any change in project scope that increases your fee. Monthly invoices are typically presented at the end of a calendar month or during the first week of the following calendar month. Grant Buckley Law reserves the right to suspend offering reduced hourly rates to clients that fail to timely pay for our legal services. If your company utilizes a vendor billing system that extends payment time or discounts fees, different hourly rates may apply.

Fixed Fee Projects. For certain projects, Grant Buckley Law may offer legal services for a fixed or flat fee. For these projects, we may require payment in full up front or payment in 2 installments, usually at the inception and completion of a project.

Other Fee Arrangements. Other fee arrangements may be available upon request, e.g., if your company desires part-time general counsel services for a monthly retainer fee or certain projects may qualify for “value-based” billing. Please inquire for more information.

Retainer Fee.  Grant Buckley Law may require a retainer fee prior to beginning work on a particular project. The retainer fee shall be held in a trust account.
